Revving up sewing day/game night (in Southern MD)

For various reasons, we took a break from sewing/woodshop day. We'd like to get going again, hopefully a little more steadily this time! (ETA: hopefully every other week)

We'll start on Sunday, January 25th. Please come over no earlier than noon. We'll sew, work on projects, do woodworking stuff, run around after kids (hopefully they'll all entertain each other!) etc. Dinner will likely be simple, if you're staying, please bring something to share for side or snack. Then after dinner, we'll break out the games, and play until people leave (or you can feel free to stay and work on projects).

Even though I'm planning on making this a regular occurence, I'll still want people to let me know if they're coming. If nobody tells me, we might be out of the house. :-) Please contact me privately for directions.

I'll post again as we grow near, but I wanted to give the heads up and get it on our calendar. Once it's on LJ, it's official, right? ;-)

You know what, I think I can make the 25th. I'm going to put it on my calendar. I'll let you know if something comes up and I can't make it, but it would be from around 1:30 or 2:00 - cause I'll try to hop in the car during Christopher's nap, so he can sleep most of the way and then be refreshed and hopefully in a good mood when we get there.

Excellent! I figure that people will likely bring kids. If you need to leave them home to get stuff done, that's up to you! :-) But my kids will be around, and if Jeff's in the shop, they'll likely be up with us.

Darn. We'll be on our way to Florida that weekend, and won't be back until the following weekend :-(

One of these days I REALLY need to get back to working on my fitted gowns. It'd be nice to finish them for the Spring, and to have something more authentic-looking to wear.

I just realized that our DnD group is meeting the day before (24th) for a CoC game.. I'm not sure if we're playing here or down there.. if we play here, we might still be able to come down, but I doubt Seth will want to drive down to SoMd two days in a row (since he already drives all that way for work everyday..)
