Hee hee! There's an 18 wheeler stuck out in my driveway, in the gravel. We got a shipment of stone and some wood from Lowes, and when he called about the dropoff, we suggested a smaller truck. An 18 wheeler is what they had to send apparently. Well, he backed up all the way into the gravel, and now he can't get out!
The boys will be so happy to find that they have a truck AND a forklift when they get home. And maybe even a tow truck!
ETA:
They brought in a smaller Lowes delivery truck (just a pickup with a bed on the back) and have hooked it to the front of the semi. They have the fork lift in back pushing. Still stuck.
ETA2:
There is smoke pouring from the engine of the pickup. They're putting 2x4s under the tires of the forklift, I'm presuming, though God knows why. The air out there stinks.
ETA3:
Aha! They used the forklift to lift up each side of the semi and put the 2x4s under that! Now we have some VERY bent 2x4s. Next option?
ETA4:
They're OUT! But the semi is pointing the wrong way up my driveway.
I wish the boys were home. They'd love this.
