Hm. Conundrum tonight. Debate drinking game, or Project Runway finale?

I think PR is going to win. :-D

so very much. M is making noises about watching the debate, which means I may have to attempt to excavate a place to sit in the sewing room so I can watch PR.

It's not like the debate is going to do a thing to change my vote.

ICON LOVE!

that is all.

Oh, and probably the debate, because I'm a glutton for punishment.

I would definitely choose PR. I never, OK, almost never, watch our political debates; it just upsets me. It doesn't mena that I'm not itnerested, but that I prefer to read about politics.

i haven't decided, myself. i'm recording PR for my husband anyway. i might give the debate a whirl and then flip over. or i might be apathetic by nine. hard to say.

I’ve enjoyed watching the debates for the entertainment factor, and I might try to record it or watch at least the second half. Unfortunately, they seemed to jump the shark after the highly anticipated VP debate ended up a fairly boring bust.

Beauty of dual tuner Tivo = record both for later viewing sans commercials.

But, if I had to choose, I would have to go with PR all the way!

Torn between who I want to win though.

I don't watch the debates (I know, bad citizen!) - they make me all irritable and grouchy-like.

Can I be an omnisexual ex-time agent for Obama, too? (I think Cpt Jack would approve of PR instead of the debate... :D )

Definitely opting for PR in our house. Although there could be a good drinking game there as well...

That’s why drinking and making fun of the debates is par for the course. It’s getting redundant, though.

I'm all for flipping back and forth. Jeff has said that either way, he's spending the evening in the basement.

I love that icon, btw. :-D

Meh. Used to be everybody watched the evening news. Now, nobody does. If you already know your candidate, there’s not much point beyond entertainment factor.

Omnisexual time agent, or community organizer. (or both!) You pick. ;-)

Every time Kenley says, “well HEIDI, I meant to do it that way.” Or everytime Leanne and Korto ignored Kenley instead of trying to be pleasant, or… ;-)

clearly that's part of the PR drinking game, not about the debate. can we just call it a day now?

I don't have a basement refuge, but I also don't have cable, so I'm thinking a night of baby booties and Sweeney Todd.

Unfortunately not. We've pulled back from everything this fall, so Jeff can focus on much-needed house projects.

I'll say my prediction now - they're demonizing Kenley because she's going to win, just like they did with Michael two seasons ago.

(Not that she hasn't been crazy, but they could probably make any of them out to look bad.)

I stopped watching the local evening news when I realized there wasn't much more to it than sensationalism. I do miss watching the news in the UK, tho, and will watch the BBC news when I can.

What can I say... I just don't like US tv news reporting. But print is good :D
