It's getting to be time for Christmas shopping. I was hoping to use today to do a little online shopping for the boys, but I'm feeling uninspired. I want to get *cool* stuff, but stuff that's not very big, not too age advanced, and not just plastic junk. Although, I think all they really want is plastic junk - especially if it makes noise. I suspect they might love this police helmet and steering wheel set, but it takes a ton of batteries, and smacks of one of those things that can only be played with in one way. It's more of a toy that you get for your friends' kids, because it'll likely give them a headache.... ::evil::

Henry has said that he want a helicopter, spaceship, robot, and airplane. Maybe I should just keep it simple and get non-interactive, non-battery powered, non-remote control versions of those. He saw some fancy remote control ones in the target catalog that caught his eye.

So, discerning parents on my f-list (which is all of the parents on my flist), what do you think the coolest toys out there are for a 2.5 and 3.5 year old? So far, I'm planning a few DVDs, Christmas jammies, a bag of guitar picks for Eddie (he's always losing them), and a bike and helmet for Eddie. We already have a lot of puzzles, and too many train tracks.
