Yep. Even if sick time was limited, if I could take unpaid time after that, instead of just sucking up all of my vacation, I’d rather do that (or rather, I’d want that to be a choice). I ended up taking 13 days unpaid last year anyway (even though my leave policy is fairly generous at 20 days).
