Linene makes a very effective aror. The light fighters down here use 3 to 4 layers of it for theirs, and they sometimes need it to protect from broken blades. The important part is the tightness of the weave.
I love the hemp twill. If it were a different color, and if I weren't trying to put my fabric buying on hiatus for a while, I'd snap up a couple yards.
