Happy Thanksgiving!

We're on our way to azpapillion and J-sans-LJ's house for Thanksgiving dinner. Needless to say, the most imporant things in my life are in this car with me, Jeff, my two funny boys, and Luana counts too. :-)

We stopped at a gas station, and Henry begged to come in with me to buy water.

Henry: "I want to come in!"
Me: "No, you have to wait here"
Henry: "Stop bossing me around!"
Jeff: "It's our job to boss you around."
Me: "We wouldn't be good parents if we didn't boss you around."
Henry: "But you ARE good parents."

Awwww.

This morning he helped me make pie, while Luana played with Eddie, and Jeff worked in the basement. It summed up quite a bit of what I'm thankful for: my family, an au pair who is part of it, a good roof over my head, and the fact that we have the luxury of spending time playing at totally frivolous hobbies. We're all healthy (knock on wood), our family is well, and we have good jobs.

I'm also thankful for all of YOU. Some of you are very dear friends, some of you are becoming that way, and some of you I'm grateful to know even if it's only because the internet makes it possible. My life is richer for all of you.
